Frequently Asked Questions

Because we sell Wild Venison, it can take up to 10 days to receive your Venison Pack. We will confirm before payments are made what date to expect your delivery.

The different venison cuts are vacuum packed in bags of 500 grams or less except the Venison Striploin which will be around 1 kg. This makes it easy to freeze or divide between friends/family.

Unfortunately, due to keeping the Venison pack chilled, we cannot send to rural addresses. However,if you can arrange pick up from a commercial address, petrol station or courier depot near you, we are happy to send it there for you using our chilled freight company. please make sure you email us prior to ordering to let us know.

We like to use (as much as we can) sustainable packaging but unfortunately there are no Residential delivery chilled Courier companies and as our venison is mostly chilled, we have decided to use polybins. We are assuming, as it is a 14 kg pack, that this will not be a weekly delivery to the same customer, so here are some tips on how to re-use your poly bin. - They make great garden, patio veggie/herb and planter boxes. Give them a paint to colour up your deck or garden. - Put one in the back of your car to keep you groceries chilled. - Keep you picnic and bottle of wine/beer chilled. - Great storage/emergency boxes. If you have a commercial address (note not a business residential one) or a friend/family who has a commercial address, we can send your Venison in a Cardboard box with a Chilled freight company, please let us know prior to ordering.

After you send us the order form, we will email you our bank account and payment details.

If there are any problems with your order (you haven’t received it on time or there is something wrong with the venison) please contact us as soon as possible at orders@awatoruwildfood.co.nz or call Scott on 02102944495
